Mas Fuertes vineyards are located near the idyllic village Corça. Corça is a village in the province of Girona and an autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municiality covers an area of 16,31 square kilometres and the population is around 1257.

Corça is located near the Capital of the region, La Bisbal D’Empordà. The capital of the region is also the ceramics capital of the region, thanks to the good quality of the clay. The first written sources about ceramics in La Bisbal are from 1511. The most important period for the ceramics capital came in the 19th century when the pottery was also transported to Spanish colonies. After the civil war in Spain, the pottery production decreased. From 1950 many tourists visited the region, which stimulated production again.

In the city, many shops are located with handmade ceramics. There are many types of ceramics, pots (cookware) to tiles (decoration). La Bisbal has its own ceramic brand: “Ceramica De La Bisbal. This is an EU-protected brand name and the stamp is placed in each ceramic article before it is baked.
